[Garg] SD Gargantua Reskin

My second skin. Comments and crits are welcome.

UPDATE Nov 10 2007: SD HI-RES LD-Style variant added

Credits:

- body texture by Wonrz

- Optimizing UVmap for more texture detail - Halflifedave

- Gargantua model by Ambient.Impact
   ---------------------------
   - original Gargantua by VALVe
   - Chrome texture on eye from the Human Assassin, by VALVe
   - some textures taken from the HD Alien Slave by Gearbox, originally
     by VALVe
   - eye sprite taken from Gunman Chronicles, recoloured

Very nice, resembles the LD garg much more than the original A.I.'s garg.

resembles the LD garg much more than the original A.I.'s garg.
AI's garg skin was just the original LD skin resized. Not sure how you could get any more LD-resembling than that.

Anyway, very nice reskin.

If it's just a reskin why don't you post it in "other releases"?

Excellent reskin, definately the best looking Garg replacement around at the moment, you should get AI to host it on his site or something!

Nice reskin, good detail and you stayed true to the original.

We on the HL:S:HD Team would like to convert it to Source and add it to our pack, would that be alright with you Wonrz?

I wouldn't say its "just a reskin" its much more involved than something that belongs in other releases.

Damn it, I talk too much :-X :D. Oh well, it will probably be released eventually, but right now I'm still hoping someone could modify the model to make it possible to use the 1024 detail at least...   

Halflifedave, you asked me if I'd release 1024 map, would you be able to get the uvmap split?
