[Half-Life PaK] Version Six Update

This is the Updated Version of my 6th Half-Life PaK - gahhhh I can't stop!!

v6 Changelog:

1. new "skeleton.mdl"
2. new lgrpg "laserdot.spr"
3. added new indexalpha - transparent, enlarged crosshairs
4. all new "player.mdl ; holo.mdl ; w_suit.mdl" reskin for SP
5. removed all unused sprites on the updated version
6. removed unused sounds and improved authenticity of several WAV files
7. minor texture edits on the "hgrunt.mdl"
8. removed helmets from the multiplayer models
9. various edits on my "640hud7.spr ; 640hud2.spr ; 640hud3.spr"
10. UV fixes for all view models
11. new hi-textured "scientist.mdl" and fixed Eli's eye texture
12. reskined several weapon models under request
13. completely remastered weapon sprites with entirely new base and corrective nameplates
14. all new sounds in the "weapons ; ambience ; fvox" catagories
15. new HL mainscreen splash for STEAM users
16. fixed chrome "baby_headcrab.mdl" and scaled to a larger noticable size
17. fixed "metalplategibs_green.mdl" discoloration ; now more green than yellow
18. new "agrunt1.spr" matching the hi-res agrunt with updated hivehand
19. fixed pain sprite ; now more furthur away from the crosshair, preventing visual blocking
20. new ammo "w_9mmARclip.mdl" matching the MP5 clip
21. all new "640hud1.spr" MP weapon death sprites
22. added new water explosion sprite "WPplo1.spr"
23. hacked new "w_chainammo.mdl" as 4 9mmAR clips
24. added new isotope box "w_weaponbox.mdl" and rescaled to a reasonable size
25. added new hi-res "barnacle.mdl" and fixed texture discoloration
26. fixed eyes for the blinking "houndeye.mdl"
27. added new LD-SD style "garg.mdl"
28. added new glowing "gargeye1.spr"
29. edited the step sounds for various models to match LD styles
30. updated the apache rocket "hvr.mdl" to a realistic scale
31. hacked an eye glow to "controller.mdl"
32. compromised crashing for edited "scientist.mdl ; scientistT.mdl ; zombie.mdl ; zombieT.mdl"
33. updated the multiplayer model pack with the new HEV skin and noticable coloration fixes
34. new hi-res reskin for the "barney.mdl ; barneyT.mdl" and hacked a glock 19 on him
35. hacked the higher poly spas12 onto my improved "hgrunt.mdl"
36. added enhanced "v_tripmine.mdl ; p_tripmine.mdl" with better sounds and fixed P model hand alignment
37. hacked a glock 19 silenced and the new grenade model to my improved "hassassin.mdl"
38. edited the "c2a3_ba_assn.wav" sound with the enhanced silencer fire
39. edited various sprites resulting in a higher quality and better visuals
40. rechromed all HEV models and the "islave.mdl" to an appropriate tone
41. hacked a new "grenade.mdl" ; now the entire AR nade shows up, not just the gold part
42. fixed many smoothing and UV errors in my "v_rpg.mdl"
43. hacked eyes to the hive hand player and world models "w_hgun.mdl ; p_hgun.mdl"
44. real gore textures on gib models "hgibs.mdl ; agibs.mdl ; fleshgibs.mdl"
45. hacked the previously missing mouth to the snark player and world models "w_squeak.mdl ; p_squeak.mdl"
46. hacked new "gib_legbone.mdl" as a realistic textured hgib model
47. added new metal barrel gibs model "mbarrel.mdl" with hi-res textures
48. hacked new various bone gib models "abone_template.mdl ; bskull_template.mdl ; pelvis.mdl ; ribcage.mdl ; riblet.mdl"
49. added new "big_rock.mdl" with hi-res textures
50. hacked new revolver model "v_357.mdl ; p_357.mdl ; w_357.mdl" with perspective correction, fixed origins, and new sounds
51. new enhanced "light.mdl" with more polys and hi-res textures
52. hacked new "apache.mdl" with several hvr rocket models replacing the older redeemer rockets
53. added new "v_egon.mdl ; p_egon.mdl" with enhanced origins and additive glow
54. major edits on the "640hud7 ; 640hud2" to keep them standalone and independent
55. added new "xbeam1.spr" to match the coloration of the new gluon gun
56. added various new explosion sprites "aexplo.spr ; bexplo.spr ; cexplo.spr ; dexplo.spr ; eexplo.spr ; fexplo.spr ; fexplo1.spr"
57. added new flame sprite "fire.spr"
58. enhanced alien gib model "big_momgibs.mdl" with realistic gore textures
59. enhanced alien boss textures for gonarch "big_mom.mdl"
60. hacked new "bleachbones.mdl" as the hgib models; fixed a logic error
61. hacked a missing arm on the trigger of the "v_9mmAR.mdl" MP5
62. fixed player model hand alignment with the "p_9mmAR.mdl" MP5
63. added new re-textured models similar to LD styles "controller.mdl ; islave.mdl"
64. added new hi-res concrete gibs model "concrete_gibs.mdl"
65. edited all weapons with the corresponding ammo skin ; reskinned new "shell.mdl"
66. fixed the eye glow bug on the "bullsquid.mdl"
67. added new "v_grenade.mdl ; p_grenade.mdl ; w_grenade.mdl" with newly hacked player and world models
68. enhanced eye textures for the added "gman.mdl ; player.mdl"
69. added various exclusive muzzleflashes "muzzleflash1.spr ; muzzleflash2.spr ; muzzleflash3.spr ; muz4.spr"
70. added new "v_gauss.mdl ; p_gauss.mdl ; w_gauss.mdl" with redux textures
71. hacked new animations from the rpg7 rocket to the HD "rpgrocket.mdl"
72. added all new reskin for the satchel charge "v_satchel.mdl ; w_satchel.mdl ; p_satchel.mdl"
73. added new rpg model "v_rpg.mdl ; w_rpg.mdl ; p_rpg.mdl" with hacked HD rocket and new sounds
74. enabled botplay for self-created servers ; type "rcbot addbot" to add one bot to your server
75. added exclusive realistic blood splatter "bloodspray.spr"

Swamping :o

Yeah, it's been a while folks, but the update is here. And no, its not version 5.5, it's fucking version 6.

Not only are there various hacks never done before, but some stuff here is exclusive material from various peoples projects, so with that being said, it's a release of many peoples work.

I also added alternative crosshairs for those of you who still want it. I thought I'd release it b/c I'm kinda' proud of the design I made.

I hope this pack comes in use to those in need of custom content. Much love Half-Life Improvement Team <3

Kyler you've been in the readme since version 1 ;D

I forget why though. I think it was helping me with a request or something like that.

And yes, if people would like to screenshot the pak for me, I would appreciate it. Idk why, but the forums were acting strange ever since that day where I lost a day's worth of posting... :o

Looking through Nige111's pics, I'd suggest using H4wK's Hgun reskin, if you're going for a classic HL look. Also, you may wish to do some editing to the v_models, primarily gutting it + removing unseen faces + such.

Also, I see SOMEONE doesn't like idle anims. O.o

Ach I'm getting the same error message when I attach my pics :( I'm sorry for the disappointing news Nige111 :(

@ Kyler: Idk, I really like the hi-res hgun I made :P <3 detailed textures

And I find animations just, well, distracting. I can't really say I'm fond of th gun swerving around while you clearly have your crosshair narrowed on the target ; no logic in that!

I guess you can say its opinionated.

I was looking for nice arms for my v5. I thought to myself, "Hmmm, maybe I'd just stick with the RavenGT arms," but then it hit me.

Millenia Arms Tweaked.

Millenia's newer arm texture is very good; looks sorta like hl2! I'll be glad to change the arms for SC pak v1 if ppl want change.
