About and short manual  

About the project:
 
Half-Life Zombie Edition - the mod, created on the basis of Half-Life, which basic innovation - you are zombie! Or more likely Gonome, but it is already unimportant.

Innovations:

  * As you zombie, the attitude to you of world around has seriously exchanged - people are afraid of you (and attack) and here headcrabs, houndeyes and zombie do not attack. With a view of creation though any gameplay Aslaves, Agrunts, controllers and bullsquids too attack you, others zombie and headcrabs. There are and some more changes, but this main thing

  * Now at you 150 lives and reservations (and it is primary). Besides as you - zombie, you cannot use stationary first-aid sets, HEV battery chargers and batteries. The unique thing, restoring to you a life - the first-aid set (as item). But how to restore the reservation and lives at stages without first-aid sets? The answer: eating corpses. Each eaten corpse (human) gives you on 20 lives and reservations, and the reservation can increase up to sizes more than 150.
  * Your main weapon - claws. They beat slowest when crowbar, but is much stronger.
  * And how the long-range weapon? It too is. You can throw the ... H'm... A product of an exchange. That is balls of a gastric acid. They slow and not too strong, but infinite.
  * Speed of movement is reduced. Because of it it was necessary to put an opportunity constantly to jump, as with jump accelerator. We shall consider, that it is one of opportunities gonome.
  * As you zombie (well, gonome... What difference?) The others zombie do not attack you. What? I already spoke it? I shall not remember... And so, moreover, they can go for you. Besides they are talkative, and it is a little having learnt their language, you will understand them:):)...
  * One more your weapon - headcrabs. Yes, now you can transfer them! headcrabs can "headcrabbed". It operates only on scientists as they do not carry any helmets, hats, etc.
  * Now instead of a small lamp at you a mode of "supersight".
  * And, yes, certainly, you to use any weapon cannot any more.
  * The interface is changed.
  * New models are added.
  * New sounds are added.

How?

How to eat corpses? - kill any person and press "use", having aimed at a corpse.

How to throw an acid? - alternative fire of claws.

How to receive headcrabs? - unfortunately, not in this version. While they can be received only through impulse 101.

How to force zombie to follow me? - as well as scientists and usual Half-Life - to approach and press "use".

How to pass...? - in any way. Those heroes who can pass this mod without codes, at once will take away to work in FBI. My recommendations - in subway and in a room before test chamber use notarget, and on xen - noclip.

Known problems:  


1. Animation of a throw works time for level
2. Headcrabs, despite of all my efforts, it is impossible to take.
3. The corpses laying at a level initially, are not eaten (for the same reasons on which do not undertake headcrabs)
4. barnacle eat bullsquids, Aslaves and Agrunts. Temporarily.
5. What mod is impassable, is a problem?:)
6. Hands sometimes beat spontaneously. But it more likely the feature as to clean it would not be desirable - very beautifully.
7. Thrown out headcrabs leaky (and whether it is necessary?)

I'm having a bit of trouble with this mod.
Start a new game and it crashes and says that the suit fell out at *confusingly large amount of decimals and numbers*
This happened to anyone else?

This mod, had my first period class, laughing. There big HL freaks. I also enjoyed it, My only request is that you fix the headcrab weapon, Wile yes it works very smooth and it looks cool when it latchs on. We just though that we want the zombies to get up and you can use them as soilders.

it looks like all of the models are stolen from people on this forum and the head crab is from hl2.
its preaty fun but you start out in the tram before the cascade happens.

How do i continue from the tram?...the guard wont let me out because hes too busy shooting at me ::)

The training levels are also messed.....and the hologram person thing follows you around if u go near to it  :o

Interesting mod. I haven't really explored it but to start with I've altered the splash screen so it shows up in Steam. See attached file.

Right, the arms on v_squeak.mdl are flatshaded. The headcrab is from HL2 which is illegal. There seems to be an error with zombie.mdl, as there is no reference and there are no animations or textures. The zombie sounds are from HL2. That's all i have to say.
